Sunnie A. Aburime, Ph.D., CHMM is a consultant in Publicity Management (media relations, liaison matters & legal matters); Community Matters and Development. Environmental Matters (health safety and welfare, environmental management, Nigeria EPA liaison). Professor Aburime is a Nigerian-American with a good knowledge of Nigerian priorities and local resources.

Dr. Aburime is a multi-disciplinary scientist and engineer with very strong business background. He is a Professor of Engineering at Clark Atlanta University. He is a certified hazardous materials manager-CHMM with a PhD in Biological and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University in 1986. He received the M.Sc Chemistry degrees from Jackson State University and the B.Sc Chemistry/Chemical Engineering in a dual-degree program with Jackson State/Yale University.

In 1986-1987, he returned to Nigeria to serve in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). During this time, he did his internship with the National Fertilizer of Nigeria (NAFCON) where he advised the marketing division on product development as it related to end users (mostly farmers) and environmental management.
